Louisiana’s Caddo Parish is taking on pajama pants – or at least the ones that don’t leave much to the imagination.

“If you can’t (wear pajamas) at the Boardwalk or courthouse, why are you going to do it in a restaurant or in public?” [Commissioner Michael] Williams asked rhetorically. “Today it’s pajamas, tomorrow it’s underwear. Where does it stop?”

The answer, of course, is that it probably stops shortly after the underwear, unless the person is wearing a lot of layers in the wrong order.

One thing that will stop if this plan goes through? Dances like this. The citizens of Caddo Parish will have to decide if that’s a risk worth taking.
