Most years we do a cookie exchange with our friends and neighbors. People come by whenever they like, they eat some cookies, maybe they bring some to share, there’s music, there’s hot cocoa, it’s a good time.
Obviously that’s not happening this year, at least not in the usual way. Instead we’re going to make a bunch of cookies and do some contactless dropoffs. A little bit of holiday spirit can go a long way this time, I think.
And best of all, for the first time in Christmas baking history, the old boy is getting his ingredients organized beforehand!
