Coincidences

Liberty Hardy just asked this question on Twitter:

I recently read a book that was so bad, I’m embarrassed to think that even ghosts saw me read it. It had the most RIDICULOUS huge coincidence.

But I know that huge coincidences *are* a thing that happen. So, Twitter, please tell me about a huge coincidence that happened to you.

I was in DC for a book event and decided on a whim to get off subway several stops early.

The first person I saw outside the station was my friend and coworker Laura Knoy from New Hampshire. She was in DC for vacation and just happened to be walking by the exact spot where I walked out of the Metro station.

Coincidentally, this happened five years ago today!
