I know Hanukkah is still a few days away, but I didn’t want to miss a chance to include this song in our countdown. Yid Vicious is a klezmer band from my hometown, Madison, Wisconsin, and they do a terrific version of this Ladino (Judeo-Spanish) song about the eight little candles of Hanukkah. (Lots of people, including Idina Menzel, have done this song too, but they aren’t local!)
