25 More Days of Holiday Songs: “Yes, Patricia, There Is A Santa Claus” by Jimmy Dean

We now present to you Jimmy Dean’s take on the classic “Yes, Virginia,” letter, with some very festive accompaniment.

I’m curious, though, why does Patricia write to Jimmy Dean for the answers to life’s most important questions? Was he an advice columnist in the 60s, and if so, where do I find his columns? I am also in urgent need of advice.

Also, as someone who knows Jimmy Dean less for his music (or, for that matter, his sausages) than for his outstanding role in the James Bond movie “Diamonds Are Forever,” I can’t help but wonder whether this is really him or just Blofeld using a voice simulator.

Maybe I’m overthinking this.
