If you were to write a book about a living president, who would you pick and why? – Zorana

The post-presidency of George HW Bush, no question. The most interesting by far – mostly because of the fancy socks. But aside from those, he was the last president to lose his reelection campaign and he was blamed at the time by voters for things he gets a lot of credit for today. It would be interesting to trace how he got from there to here, historically speaking.

Plus, the trajectory of his career is unusual compared to his contemporaries. Most of them were governors or lawmakers, while he largely came up institutionally.
