A Question About Home

Of all the homes/neighborhoods you’ve lived in, which is your favorite? Why? Is it quantifiable? – Walter

Our house in New Hampshire. The only place I’ve ever owned, which was a big deal to me then, and one we got to rehab and really make our own.

Funny story: the contractors for our addition initially thought they could add four bedrooms, but eventually realized they could only do three. We only had one kid then and said, that’s fine, we can’t imagine ever needing that many bedrooms!

The house, the neighbors, the friends we’d see in town, it all felt more like home than anyplace I’ve ever lived- it was very hard to give it all up last year!
