News reports in 2006 made it sound like scientists had proven that cows had regional accents like people do, only the story was a little more complicated than that.
It only took three years, but a dude is putting drawings to the news! Well, not exactly how I envisioned the thing, but there's drawings and headlines, so we're calling it a victory.
The news doesn't make sense all the time - or even most of the time, especially if you read the paper upside down. So why should we insist that news coverage makes sense?
