It will be hard to get groovier than today’s holiday song: Marvin Gaye and his Moog synthesizer playing “Christmas In The City”!

This one is a very different kind of song than Gaye’s other holiday recording, the devastating “I Want To Come Home For Christmas.” It’s instrumental, for one thing, and the synth lines are not too far down the road from Gaye’s amazing, underrated soundtrack to the movie “Trouble Man.” Enjoy.
