I can’t imagine what it must have been like to be Santa Claus in 1964. Apparently everyone in the world asked to have a Beatle for Christmas; there are like half a dozen novelty songs like this one, which asks for a Beatle, any Beatle, as a present. (I especially like one because of that heavy Farfisa sound. It makes me think of the “In-a-Gadda-da-Vida”-based musical world to come!)
