What is something you used to believe, but do not anymore? – Cat

Two things. One was the idea that the internet would make the public debate drastically better. I believed that when I was like 17. Then I found usenet and quickly changed my tune.

The other was that, as a newlywed, I wanted to put roots down in my hometown and stay there forever, cause I didn’t really know anything else – my parents were not big into travel. There’s nothing wrong at all with doing that, of course, but I like to wander. My dream job would literally be like the Scooby gang, driving around the country in a van solving mysteries.
