Somebody on Reddit Rickrolled Rick Astley

We’re no strangers to Rick Astley. You know the man’s massive impact on popular music and Internet culture, and so do I. His astounding appearance in the middle of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade is what I’m thinking of. We wouldn’t get this greatness from any other guy.

But even we, who would never give him up, are amazed by Reddit user theMalleableDuck, who joined a Rick Astley discussion thread on Reddit to post a link to the “Never Gonna Give You Up” video that appeared to be something else.

In other words, Rick Astley himself got Rickrolled. And because he would never let us down, Rick applauded.

May Rick Astley and the internet be together forever.
