The white trim was trickier to install than it might look – it’s actually quite thick and had to be cut just right to be consistent.

So excited to see the shingles, too. The guys were working during a really intense heat spell, where temperatures got up over 100 in our town. Not wanting to miss a work day, they just showed up at 6 am instead of 7 and plugged away until the heat got to be too much.

Next up: the inspector checks the interior framing, which is complete. If/when he signs off on that, they can start adding electrical and plumbing. Then it’s insulation, dry wall, flooring and… maybe this place turns back into a house!
