25 Days of Holiday Songs 2025: “Sled Zeppelin” by Bob Rivers

This year the world said goodbye to Bob Rivers, a renowned morning radio DJ in Seattle (among other stops) who also won a lot of fans from his series of Christmas parody albums. That’s how I first encountered his work; when I was first really digging into the realm of holiday music, I came across a “Twisted Christmas” CD at the public library and came across this seasonal parody of Led Zeppelin’s “D’yer Maker.” “Oh oh oh oh oh ohhhh/Dashing through the show” is inspired.

From one radio guy to another, Bob, thanks.
