Real Illustrated News. And I Am Proven Right Yet Again

Way back in 2008, I proposed this mindblowingly incredible idea to revitalize the news:

Our idea is to use colorful and whimsical drawings to entice the kids into reading the news. I just have a hunch that a 34 columns of “Safire on Hair-Splitting” won’t hold a candle to a bear that can play the drums, or whatever.

It only took three years, but a dude has done exactly this!

Well, not exactly this, but there’s drawings and headlines, so we’re calling it a victory. Actually, any drawing like this has to qualify as a victory. A big one.

So, Eric Wedum, the news world is counting on you. Good luck.

Oh, and I look forward to Meat Loaf Bottled Spring Water in 2014!
