I have a few questions here. The music is very Sixties, lots of electric organ and almost surfy sounds. And I can’t say I’m surprised that there were Chipmunks knockoffs after Ross Bagdasarian hit it big with those comically sped up voices. But these Happy Crickets sure don’t sound sped up, they’re just singing high notes. And… they’re crickets! Singing “The Chipmunk Song”! The mind boggles.
